Celebrate Our Home

Have you ever wondered what gives Newton County its character?

Find out at Celebrate Our Home!!

Come by and enjoy food, activities, and entertainment for all ages. The kids will beg to stay!

A showcase exhibit will remind you why Newton County is a great place to live!

So stop by, meet your neighbors and make new friends, and HAVE FUN!!!

This spring, the Newton County Leadership Collaborative and The Center for Community Preservation and Planning are hosting Celebrate Our Home for the community. Through five events across the county, Celebrate Our Home will bring together the county’s residents and leaders for “food, fun and facts”. Come out and celebrate the community’s land, culture, and people and be introduced to The 2050 Plan—a comprehensive plan for creating a sustainable community. Celebrate Our Home visually demonstrates Newton’s small town feel and rural character and shares the importance of the 2050 Plan in its maintenance. Don’t miss this once-in-a-generation event! Every citizen in Newton County is invited to attend.

Newton County is unique, wonderful, and always changing. We invite you to explore and participate in this event and join us to preserve our quality of life. Celebrate our home with us.
